Downlands is owned by me, Andrew Tyler. I took over in 2012 and I live on site with my two miniature dachshunds and rescue patterdale – although I consider all the animals that are staying at Downlands as mine and treat them as such.

My aim is to ensure that your pets are given the very best of care and attention while in our care. I want you to feel confident that your dog or cat will be well looked after but above all, I want your dog or cat to have a better break than you do!

The Downlands Team is only small but all of us enjoy getting to know our extended family of visiting dogs and cats. My staff are passionate about animals and have all completed Animal Care courses.

We pride ourselves on what we do and that the entire focus of our activities is on looking after the animals in our care. I am very committed to ensuring that the high standards that I believe in are followed by the Downlands staff.
